Reply to Beth: I use a quarter of a cuop of matza meal and one egg with a splash of oil and water; this yields about 7 1/2 (walnut) balls (that swell to golf balls).

What do you think of THAT?

And get this: my neighbor Yocheved uses an eighth of a cuop of matza meal and half an egg egg with a splash of oil and water; this yields about 3 3/4 (walnut) balls (that swell to golf balls).
