I had always dreamed about a Magic Mill that was large enough to hold a 5-lb bag of flour (so that I could make a brachah)… and put off making challah by hand. Just recently I thought I would give it a try by hand. It wasn’t so much work after all! Just takes about 10 minutes to knead and mix it all up by hand. I am now routinely making challah by hand, and have stopped dreaming about an electric mixer.
