I know that this is an easy recipe for kids because mine just made it. It’s a great Succos dessert and especially delicious warm with vanilla ice cream, either pareve or dairy. This recipe can easily be doubled – and in fact I recommend it!
Chocolate Chip Pie
2 eggs
½ cup flour
½ cup brown sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 store-bought graham cracker pie crust
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Blend all ingredients in a kitchen aid or with a hand mixer. Don’t worry if there are a few clumps of margarine. Pour into crust and bake 30 to 45 minutes until top is brown. Cool on wire rack if you can wait that long to try it!

I am so going to make this recipie
(well actually my kids are)
It looks yummy & really easy
Thanks so much for the great ideas.
Yum!!! This recipe is so easy to make or as my daughter would say, it’s easy shmeezy shmickles”. I had to make a few of them since everyone kept eating it when it came out of the oven.
Please verify the ingredients for this recipe. Was anything omitted? I tried it for Shabbos, and it came out very dense and not tasty as I expected.
Please try again. It should work well and is delicious, especially warm.
PBY – I cooked it for 38 minutes. I would not cook it for anymore – maybe even less depending on your oven. Also, make sure it’s on 325. I cooked it once at 350 because my brain automatically goes to 350 and it did not come out well (it was too overdone).
The proportions are off; I just doubled the ingredients, intending to make two pies, yet about 4/5 of the batter fit in a regular sized pie crust. This would only have filled the pie shell to about a half measure. Still, I’m sure it will be delicious!
I’ve doubled it many times and filled two pies – regular pie crusts not deep dish…
it looks YUMMY ill be making it right now……….. ill keep it warm and serve ice cream on top!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just gotta saw … still loooove this recipe … have passed it on to many!

can’t get graham crackers in israel….what’s a good substitue?
Use crushed cookies, like the Gefen ABC cookies, or ground nuts. Any cookie crumb will work well.
can you make this recipe without a pie crust? just oil the pan and pour in the batter??
Sure, I woul d use non-stick cooking spray on the pan
