Spinach with Pine Nuts

spinach-nuts

2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3 pounds spinach
2 tablespoons toasted pine nuts
½ teaspoon nutmeg
freshly ground black pepper
¼ cup raisins (optional)

Sauté garlic in oil. Add spinach and pepper and continue to sauté over low heat until spinach is wilted. Toss briefly with pine nuts and nutmeg and pepper. Add raisins, if using and remove from heat.
