add more onions and heads of garlic. it’s great to “suck out” the cooked garlic.

Can this be prepared before Shabbos for Shabbos day lunch by cooking on low instead of high?

Don’t know, but am about to try it. I figure how bad could it be? The chicken will be falling off the bone and the flavors could only intensify. Will let you know.

  3. ariella says:

    What kind of white wine?

    • elizabeth says:

I use a dry white wine like a Chardonney but any white wine that is good enough to drink is good enough to cook with.

  4. jodean says:

Would it be just as tasty to substitute the wine for chicken broth or vegetable broth?
