Short Ribs in Red Wine

5 pounds short ribs or flanken
2 onions, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 cups red wine
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 cups beef broth
2 bay leaves
Place all ingredients in a crock pot before Shabbos. Turn on low.
