Potting Shed Creations have done it. They have created a chic, functional and healthy way to grow herbs in the windowsill. The pots look great and produce fragrant herbs for cooking. For kosher cooks this means fresher herbs and fewer bugs!
The pots are crafted from sustainable bamboo, and unite contemporary design with good stewardship of the earth’s resources. Each pot is handcrafted and finished by skilled artisans. Modular by design, the lacquered lid elegantly inverts to become a saucer. Even the ribbon is made in the US from all natural materials (recycled plastic bottles).
Potting Shed Creations believes that style and substance are not mutually exclusive, and it is their goal to offer products in which the finest materials, elegant design and handmade craftsmanship converge to inspire a fresh approach to gardening in the modern world. This is a conscientious company that creates products from eco-friendly ingredients with contemporary style.
In addition to the their grow pots, I love their blooms-in-a-bag. Tomatoes, cilantro, chives, dill, and so much more are available for only $8. My kids give them as gifts and love to take ownership of their own bag.

Wow this sounds amazing! But what about bugs? Th article says “fewer bugs,” but typically many of these herbs become infested when grown.
just recently i’ve started experimenting with fresh herbs….i’d love to grow my own….looks like a great product!
I want to go for the green in a natural way. This looks really good for a start. Kids will love watching the herbs grow, and then eat them. Kosher delight!
