Orbix Hot Glass is back. We featured them a few months ago and this time they have a Hanukah treat for you! One lucky GKC winner will receive a Curly Pitcher in the color of their choice. Wow! That’s a nice Hanukah gift worth $195. We are not alone in loving their work, Oprah, InStyle Magazine, Food & Wine, and many others have discovered the incredible beauty of Orbix Hot Glass.

Cal Breed, owner and glass blower studied the beauty of the ocean and its life in the Marine Biology department at Auburn University but always felt compelled to be expressive artistic with his hands. He began to study the arts and found his passion in glassblowing.

After years of study, Cal opened a private studio and gallery, Orbix Hot Glass, atop Lookout Mountain in northeast Alabama. Today, Cal leads a team of glassblowers who handcraft each piece with great attention to form, balance and color. The goal—to make honest, excellent work that someone would invite into their life.

For one GKC reader, Cal will hand blow a curly pitcher in the color of their choice from the selection. Lime, Copper Blue, Cobalt, Purple, Gold, Apricot, Ruby, or Red. Check out the entire collection of vases, bowls, tumblers, pitchers and more on www.orbixhotglass.com. They make unique and striking gifts so keep the one you win and buy some for others.

Personally, I can’t wait to see who wins and plan on getting a few for myself this Hanukah!

  1. So sweet, all of them, don’t even know which color is my favorite – but I guess I will “worry” about that when (IF!) the time comes :)

  2. The vibrancy of the colors is stunning!! Each time I see these I want to head to the stained glass studio and start another project!! Gorgeous pitchers in every color…(hint…) I’d love one!! :)

  3. Any of these pitchers would enhance a festive table setting. BTW, I tried the marinated london broil recipe and it was a huge hit.
