It’s our new giveaway but also a new great product for GKC from The Kosher Cook. Imagine a perfect cloth preferred by chefs to cover rising dough imprinted with the blessing for separating challah. No longer will the same towel that is used for cleaning or washing hands be used in this woman’s mitzvah. Beautiful, L’Kovod Shabbos Kodesh, and a reminder of the mitzvah while the dough rises on the counter. Priced at just $9.95 from the Kosher Cook, it’s the perfect gift or present for oneself. Recently I attended a Project Inspire Challah Baking lecture intended to inspire more people to include others in the mitzvah of making challah. Not only was the group of woman and the lecture compelling but to see the table covered with challah bowls, all covered with the Challah Cover, made it seem so formal and uniquely special.
The cover is a square, oversized cloth and is designed to fit neatly over a large round bowl. It’s available in white with black, blue and wine lettering. Lucky for GKC, we not only have a challah cover but a 12” challah pan to go with it.
GKC is a big fan of so many products from the Kosher Cook. They are the solution to all kosher kitchen confusion with their color-coded stickers, spatulas, trays and so much more for your kosher home.
Buy one as a gift or for others from the Kosher Cook, $9.95

This is a clever idea. I’d love to have one.
not just beautiful but adds another level of sanctity to the weekly activity of making challah….great idea!
What a great idea! This would make great hostess and shower gifts.
This is such a nice way to make challah and have the bracha right in front of you!
This giveaway is a beautiful example of a wonderful Mitzvah known as “Hiddur Mitzvah”- performing a Mitzvah in as beautiful a manner as possible. This practice encourages us to return to the Mitzvah because of its inherent beauty- and in this case , makes it attractive and easy. For this reason, and because my wonderful daughter, Elisheva, is the Challah Baking Queen in our home, I would LOVE to win the current giveaway. This will enhance and beautify our mother-daughter Challah baking experiences.
I would love to win this
Would love to win this and then make my own challah for Shabbat! Would make my sons very happy!!
What a wonderful way to beautify such a wonderful mitzvah- I’d love to win it.
My newlywed daughter & newlywed daughter-in-law are both making challah; it would make a wonderful gift!
i would love to win perfect gift for my daughter!
This would really help inspire me to make my own challah’s more often.
I would love to win this and give the cover to my mother who has been searching for one. I’d keep the pan since I have to make my own Challah in Texas because they only sell it frozen here.
I would love to have this, since now I end up just using an extra cutting board and napkin to hold my challah.
It’d really make Shabbat much more festive at my house!
Oh my goodness this is exactly what I need!! I always feel like the mitzvah is reduced when I use a regular kitchen towel, and my challah shapes are always interesting since mine are “free form”!! I would love this!!!
I am a subscriber and would love to win this set.
What a lovely idea. Both items are really beautiful.
What a wonderful idea! I love the pan, too. I know my kids would love helping me even more with that wonderful pan.
What a novel idea! I have seen challah pans but never the cloth to help with the rising. What challah baker wouldn’t love it.
