Santa Fe Chicken Soup

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 onion, diced
2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
1 (15-ounce) can corn kernels, drained
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained
1 (32-ounce) box chicken broth
1 (14-1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 tablespoons diced green chilies
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne
Chopped cilantro for garnish

In a medium stockpot, heat oil over medium heat and sauté chicken, garlic and onion until lightly browned. Stir in corn, black beans, broth, tomatoes, chilies and spices. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. Garnish with cilantro, if desired.
