ooh. i see the new book by susie will include ideas on items in the kosher markets like silan (date syrup). i can’t wait to read what she offers! when my family in israel comes here they always buy some date syrup to keep in my pantry. so i need more ideas. hope i win the book!

Sussie..I am so fortunate to have a signed copy of your first book, which I recieved as a gift..I treasure it and us it constantly..In my opinion, it is positively the best kosher cook book in my collection, which is pretty extensive..I am 85 years old, and have come by my love of cooking from a long line of superb “seat of the pants” family cooks..My Mother, Aunts and grandparents were outstanding , but one could never get a recipe from them!! How I miss them all…

I usually try to work from my grandma’s hand written cookery notes, cannot call it a book, but bless her she did not worry too much about weighing it was a BISSEL DIS and a Bissell dat for seasoning etc., so have had some disasters but some great meals also. To have one of the new Susie books would indeed be a treat and not just for me but for my hard put upon husband nebesh!
