Just in time for Shavuos, Gourmet Kosher Cooking, in conjunction with MetroImma announces its first ever Best Cheesecake Recipe contest. Send in your favorite – chocolate, pumpkin, apple, ginger, marble – we can’t wait to try them! All submissions must be received my midnight, May 1st. GKC readers will then choose from among the top few. Winner receives a new cookbook.

In conjunction with Metroimma, we are excited to announce our next best recipe contest. In time for Purim, please send in your Best Hamantashen recipe. We can have a lot of fun with this one. Contest begins Sunday, January 31st and ends Motzei Shabbos, February 14th at midnight. Winner will receive a new baking cookbook. We can’t wait to see – and try – your entries.

For the next two weeks, we are asking you to submit your best green salad recipe. The winner will receive the cookbook: 101 Things to Do With a Salad by Stephanie Ashcroft and Melissa Barlow. Contest begins NOW and ends at midnight January 17th.

GKC introduces its Battle of the Bests! Send in your favorite soup recipe and let your fellow readers vote for the best. The winner will receive a copy of Winter Soups by Rav L. Overton and a chance to see their recipe in our upcoming cookbook, “Jewish Cooking – The Best Recipes”. All soup recipes must be submitted by midnight on December 20th.
